Pressure/Flow Deviation

Pressure and flow is computed over a three minute period to predict a slope that anticipates the next value at a particular station. If the next variable falls outside of the anticipated slope and exceeds the limit for that station another attempt is made the next period. If this value also exceeds the computed slope by its limit, an alarm is created and reported.

Parameters are:

t1-t(n) – Are the time increments between calculation/limit comparisons. Nominally 1 minute increments.
v1-v(n) – Are the Pressure/Flow readings to be statistically calculated.
Lim1 – Limit value to compare the calculated slope against actual slope.
Lim2 - 1^st violation causes a second comparison of a second limit before a limit violation is posted.

The alarm is shown on all displays which show alarms and a logged to the alarm.log file.
