SOUTH BELT SPRING CLASSIC 2004
INVITATIONAL YOUTH SOCCER TOURNAMENT
April 17 & 18
The South Belt Youth Soccer Club is pleased to extend to you and your team an invitation to the "South Belt Spring Classic 2004", a youth soccer tournament April 17, 2004 in southeast Houston. The "South Belt Spring Classic 2004" is sanctioned by BAYSA and STYSA for boys and girls in the Under-19 through Under-7 age groups. Make plans to sign your team up early!
LEVELS OF PLAY:
Recreational: U-07 to U-19 (boys/girls)
- division III and IV
Competitive: U-11 to U-19 (boys/girls) - division II
Open: U-11 to U-19
(boys/girls) - division I
Competition will be grouped into single age brackets/levels of play whenever possible. If not possible, teams will be grouped as follows: U-8, U-10, U-12, U-14 and U-19.
ENTRIES AND FEES:
The entry deadline is March 31, 2004. Entries received after the deadline are subject to acceptance on a space available basis only. The entry fee will be refunded if a team is not accepted. There will be no refund after a team is accepted. The entry fee must accompany the ENTRY FORM along with team rosters. Telephone and FAX entries will not be accepted until payment has been received.
U19-U17 - $300
U16-U15 - $300
U14-U13 - $300
U12-U11 - $275
U10-U09 - $225
U08-U07 - $175

ROSTERS:
U-19 to U-11:
Maximum 18 players
U-10 to U-09: Maximum 12 players
U-08 to U-07: Maximum 11 players
Three guest players are permitted but must be skill/ age appropriate.
FORMAT:
Minimum 3 games
U-19 to U-13: 30 minute halves
U-12 to U-11: 25 minute halves
U-10 to U-09: 20 minute halves
U-08 to U-07: 20 minute halves
Semi final and final games will be played on Sunday and will be regulation length. Advancement to the play-off brackets will be based on the 10 point system.
All games will be officiated by a minimum of 1 referee.
The tournament committee reserves the right to adjust times and fields.
IN CASE OF REFEREE ASSAULT OR ABUSE THE PERSON OR PERSONS RESPONSIBLE WILL BE BANNED FROM THE REMAINDER OF THE TOURNAMENT. NO PROTESTS WILL BE ALLOWED.
REFUNDS AND RAINOUT POLICY:
A full refund will be provided if any age group is full. There will be no refunds of Teams which are already bracketed unless there is a replacement team. In this case the refund will be less a $75 administrative fee. Teams submitting incorrect or false information will forfeit their entire fee.
In the event of a total tournament rainout, each entry will receive a partial refund equal to the team's entry fee less an administrative fee of $50. In the event of a partial rainout, games will be rescheduled when possible, within tournament time constraints. FIRST and SECOND PLACE team will be determined based on games completed. NO REFUNDS will be given once the tournament games begin.
