SOUTH BELT SPRING CLASSIC 2005
INVITATIONAL YOUTH SOCCER TOURNAMENT
April 15, 16 and 17, 2005
The South Belt Youth Soccer Club is pleased to extend to you and your team an invitation to the "South Belt Spring Classic 2005", a youth soccer tournament on April 15, 2004 in southeast Houston. The "South Belt Spring Classic 2005" is sanctioned by BAYSA and STYSA for boys and girls in the Under-19 through Under-6 age groups. Make plans to sign your team up early!
NOTE: Save GA$ and frustration, car pool.
Parking is very limited and some construction in progress.
LEVELS OF PLAY:
Recreational: U-06 to U-19 (boys/girls) - division III and IV
Competitive: U-11 to U-19 (boys/girls) - division II
Open: U-11 to U-19 (boys/girls) - division I / superII
Competition will be grouped into single age brackets/levels of play whenever possible.
If it is not possible to group teams into individual age groups, the following grouping will be used: U-06, U-7, U-8, U-9/10, U-11/12, U-13/14 and U-15/19.
ENTRIES AND FEES:
The entry deadline is March 31, 2005.
Entries received after the deadline are subject to acceptance on a space available basis only. The entry fee will be refunded if a team is not accepted. There will be no refund after a team is accepted. The entry fee must accompany the ENTRY FORM along with team rosters. An updated team roster will be accepted at the coaches check-in. Telephone and FAX entries will not be accepted until payment has been received.

ROSTERS: Including all guest players
U-19 to U-11: Maximum 18 players
U-10 to U-09: Maximum 12 players
U-08: Maximum 12 players
U-07 Maximum 10 players
U-06 Maximum 6 playersA maximum of three guest players are permitted but must be skill level / age appropriate.
Team players plus all guest players may not exceed the maximum roster size.
FORMAT:
Minimum 3 games
U-19 to U-13: 11 v 11, 25 minute halves - regulation length semi and finals
U-12 to U-11: 11 v 11, 25 minute halves - regulation length semi and finals
U-10 to U-09: 8 v 8, 20 minute halves - regulation length semi and finals
U-08: 7 v 7, 20 minute halves - no playoffs, participation awards for all
U-07 4 v 4, 16 minute halves - no playoffs, participation awards for all
U-06 3 v 3, 8 minute quarters - no playoffs, participation awards for allSemi final and final games will be played on Sunday and will be regulation length. Advancement to the play-off brackets will be based on the 10 point system.
All games will be officiated by a minimum of 1 referee.
The tournament committee reserves the right to adjust start times, fields and game duration.
IN CASE OF REFEREE ASSAULT OR ABUSE THE PERSON OR PERSONS RESPONSIBLE WILL BE BANNED FROM THE REMAINDER OF THE TOURNAMENT. NO PROTESTS WILL BE ALLOWED.

REFUNDS AND RAINOUT POLICY:
A full refund will be provided if any age group is full or does not make. There will be no refunds of Teams which are already bracketed unless there is a replacement team. In this case the refund will be less a $75 administrative fee. Teams submitting incorrect or false information will forfeit their entire fee.
In the event of a total tournament rainout, each entry will receive a partial refund equal to the team's entry fee less an administrative fee. In the event of a partial rainout, games will be rescheduled when possible, within tournament time constraints. FIRST and SECOND PLACE team will be determined based on games completed. NO REFUNDS will be given once the tournament games begin.

Easy drive to the fields, 5-8 minutes. Take I-45 south, exit Beltway 8 / Sam Houston Tollway east and stay in that lane and exit the freeway. Turn left on Blackhawk (2nd light after you exit) and meander your way around to your right to the El Franco Lee Park.
