SOUTH BELT SUMMER SIZZLE 2007

INVITATIONAL YOUTH SOCCER TOURNAMENT

August  10-12, 2007

The South Belt Youth Soccer Club is pleased to extend to you and your team an invitation to the "South Belt Summer Sizzle 2007", a youth soccer tournament on August 10-12, 2007 in southeast Houston. The "South Belt Summer Sizzle 2007" is sanctioned by BAYSA and STYSA for boys and girls in the Under-7 through Under-19 age groups. Make plans to sign your team up early!

NOTE: Save GA$ and frustration, car pool. Parking is limited.

LEVELS OF PLAY:

Recreational: U-07 to U-19 (boys/girls) - division III and IV
Competitive: U-11 to U-19 (boys/girls) - division II
Open:           U-11 to U-19 (boys/girls) - division I

Competition will be grouped into single age brackets/levels of play whenever possible.

If it is not possible to group teams into individual age groups, the following grouping will be used: U-7/8, U-9/10, U-11/12, U-13/14 and U-15/19.

ENTRIES AND FEES:

The entry deadline is July 31, 2007.

Entries received after the deadline are subject to acceptance on a space available basis only. The entry fee will be refunded if a team is not accepted. There will be no refund after a team is accepted. The entry fee must accompany the ENTRY FORM along with team rosters. Telephone and FAX entries will not be accepted until payment has been received.

U15-U19 - $350
U13-U14 - $340
U11-U12 - $300
U09-U10 - $250
U07-U08 - $140

ROSTERS: Including all guest players

U-11 to U-19: Maximum 18 players
U-09 to U-10: Maximum 10 players
U-07 to U-08: Maximum 8 players

A maximum of three guest players are permitted but must be skill/ age appropriate.
Team players plus guest players may not exceed the maximum roster size.

FORMAT:

    Minimum 3 games

U-13 to U-19: 11 v 11, 30 minute halves - regulation length semi and finals
U-11 to U-12: 11 v 11, 25 minute halves - regulation length semi and finals
U-09 to U-10: 6 v 6, 20 minute halves - regulation length semi and finals
U-07 to U-08  4 v 4, 8 minute quarters - no playoffs, participation awards for all

Semi final and final games will be played on Sunday and will be regulation length. Advancement to the play-off brackets will be based on the 10 point system.

All games will be officiated by a minimum of 1 referee.

The tournament committee reserves the right to adjust start times, fields and game duration.

IN CASE OF REFEREE ASSAULT OR ABUSE THE PERSON OR PERSONS RESPONSIBLE WILL BE BANNED FROM THE REMAINDER OF THE TOURNAMENT. NO PROTESTS WILL BE ALLOWED

REFUNDS AND RAINOUT POLICY:

A full refund will be provided if any age group is full. There will be no refunds of Teams which are already bracketed unless there is a replacement team. Teams submitting incorrect or false information will forfeit their entire fee.

In the event of a total tournament rainout, each entry will receive a partial refund equal to the team's entry fee less an administrative fee. In the event of a partial rainout, games will be rescheduled when possible, within tournament time constraints. FIRST and SECOND PLACE team will be determined based on games completed. NO REFUNDS will be given once the tournament games begin.
